A wise man once said, “Good music has no genre.” Kevin Gibson’s debut album Finding Flow couldn’t be put in a box if you tried. We like to call it, New Age Spiritual Awakening. It’s upbeat and soulful, with traces of roots, hip hop and global beats with nods to kirtan and his gospel roots.
Witty word choice proves he’s a writer while the vibe invigorates and gets the listener into a reflective meditative state. The songs are filled with poetic and inspiring lyrics about the teachings and learnings of the practice. Songs that honor the healing that yoga has given him.
